After reading many reports and comparisons I have this glass (with "environmentally-friendly production Lins") decided and am very satisfied. Easy enough, handy, very bright, sharp image up to the edge, probably very good rubber protection and fair price. Waterproof. It might not be the best in the world but I did not want to spend more on 1000+ Euro perhaps 3% improvement in Leica, Zeiss or Sarowski. The previous HG Nikon was too heavy for me and I usually can directly compare Minox HG 8.5x43 BR BR. The Minox was noticeably darker with schmälerem perspective.
How robust is actually will turn out, but my impression is of a really great, durable tips binoculars. The bag is a bit thin but it easily and the rubber cover of the glass reaches well against usual bumping.
