The pros:
- BPA: neither bowls nor do contain cooking basket.
- Large capacity cooking basket and the bowl: several meals together or puree to one side, the other compote.
- Different closure system babycook traditional, more reliable and hygienic (no hole in the cove), steam comes out through the spout (opposite the handle) as for the other. The round lid closure "bells" are fixed.
- On one side can be cooked and mix the other.
- The spatula stores on the device in a special location (no need to seek it everywhere).
- It sounds at the end of cooking, which is very handy when you're busy (e) elsewhere. (The ringtone is short)
- The cord passes under the unit and comes out on the side (not so crushing).
- Compact in relation to the Petit Terraillon (3 bowls 2 pr pr cooking and mixing and less great)
The -: a few minor complaints
- The exorbitant prices, but which will be amortized if the camera keeps its promises in time. Note that we can get a big plate of steamed vegetables for 1 adult or 2, or a very big compote for dessert.
- We must insist on having a smooth texture to the mix, for the first purees and sauces. But it also provides a more granular texture when the baby grows.
There is no storage on the device to the cover (removable) mixing (too bad for the price, we like storage tips)
To know:
- We can mix THAT the right side, but the two bowls are equipped with a knife (think about when you start multiple firings). While pushing the knob, really thoroughly (to the right) to mix.
- Be sure to place the "disk" or mobile cover on the bowl, mixing, because it avoids the wrong foods. This disc has a horizontal handle and to be removed with the spatula (practice). It also serves smoothies (in the other direction).
My personal opinion: for now I am happy, very very happy. Very useful too when you have 2 young children for example, or when you want to (heating) the meal on one side and that of the baby on the other.
I hope it will be durable. Beaba has a spare parts service on its website, so you can buy what is possibly use.
