A handy kitchen utensil. Completely genuine stainless steel. The grid is a smooth stainless steel sheet perforated, not a son steel braiding can break into small pieces as some sieves. It is easy to clean, a sponge soaped, rinsed in hot water and presto it's over. I used me to infuse fennel seeds (against bloating and improved digestion), directly into a jug Melita. Indeed coves allow me to have it directly into the neck of the jug or seeds infused slowly (after pouring boiling water into the jug with cinnamon honey and sugar). You can also use the brewing directly into certain theillères.
For cons, the metal is very thin, do not use excessive force on it at the risk of bending. The handles are poorly welded, they risk to be loosened if force, or over time. the cap is not properly adjusted, it misbehaves. It looks a little too big for the infuser (??!).
A good brewer, convenient, cheap, but the random solidity to test in time.
