I no longer wanted the resources of a workplace use (PeerToPeer), but a common server drive. A cheaper server I could not imagine. Use USB hard drive to NAS NANO, NANO NAS to the router and the drive from two different PCs with the same drive letter (!). That was my goal. The installation was very simple. After the reviews I had read that it was a good idea to disable the DHCP server. My DHCP server is already in the Fritz box. So from DHCP. Registered Network group name, server name assigned (USB Server1 - as unimaginative), finished. Everything reconnect and go. OK, the only drawback: I could not see any files because the release is well-designed for a directory called "public". OK maybe there is for even a trick. I have once connected the USB disk locally and moved all directories under PUBLIC. Done. Already I was able to use the whole. Now I watch the configuration for a week in practice. The USB drive is running continuously, the small server is pretty warm. Both are ok. A very inexpensive and simple but so much more practical solution. Super, for me.
