Was very short notice on finding a PCI-e-based replacement card.
Once in my PC, only one slot was free - and no double width - the selection was a bit limited.
Ultimately, the limited choice fell on a bek. Electronics market then this Radeon HD 6570 based card.
As so often, here or anywhere else on the internet you get of course a lot cheaper than in the market with the "new price guarantee".
First Experience:
+ The width of a slot ranges, that's for good
+ The map is considerably smaller than its predecessor, also good
+ Power supply via Motherboard enough, no extra 6-pin power supply necessary, that's good
+ In operation they will be warm, but not hot, too, is very personable
+ Installation went well, once the graphics went back, after installing the drivers, the native resolution of my Samsung T260 HD screen is automatically detected in 1920X1200
+ Sounds quieter than the rest of PC that fits
+ Windows 7 Experience Index for Graphics and graphics (games) is 6.8 compared to 6.9 the hot and power-hungry predecessor card, fits
So, in total, almost equal to the previous solution, but less power consumption and significantly less heat.
For a normal user without high-end gaming claims the card is always enough.
=================
Kleine additional 1.3.2012: the map is the way a so-called low-profile card, ie the width / depth is only 6cm.. This makes it suitable for retrofitting in slim compact PCs such as the Acer Aspire X series. According slimmer bezel is, it falls to the supernatant in the picture VGA connector away then. In low-profile area it is certainly one of the fastest.
3.3.2012: exactly and we have now made us advantage of this property. Got my card in Sohnemann fine 2 years old Acer X3300 retrofitted. This is with Athlon II X4 630 quad-core processor and 8 GB RAM still quite good in the juice, and the Windows graphic values are now increased to 6.7 there. Chill load the games significantly faster because of the 2GB RAM. Was it worth the upgrade, before there was a simpler Gforce processor in it.
In my PC I now have a passive Sapphire Radeon HD6670 installed. Write a review I also do so.
