The proportions of vanilla sponge cake (one of two basic Genoese) are hallucinating. Only butter. Besides cooking cakes oozing so much butter flowed molds. By cooling the height of the cake halves to become compact. It does not feel quite sure that the butter to taste. Thereupon, to follow the recipe to the end I made a topping to ... butter cream. Again the proportions are incredible. I used butter 200g for garnish generously my cakes. In the recipe, they said to put 640g! In short I do not understand. Is there not an error on the proportions? It does not seem possible to me that they sell these cakes in their bakery.
