Despite a fascinating subject, this book is very disappointing. Indeed, it seems to jump from one subject to another, from one information to another. It is difficult to understand the structure or the red wire. I had read his book "Women of Dictators" and I found it very interesting, clear and well written. But there, it's as if the author had not had enough time to do his research and digest the information and follow without ever giving the impression of being something other than mere anecdotes. Yet there would be enough to develop each chapter because in itself, distilled information is incredible! But eventually, it just seems a book too quickly, resting only on the appeal of a catchy subject ...
