On balance, I can say that it is very quiet at idle (yes, you can hear them, but at least it rotates with 7200 / min) and it has a clear sound access what personally but does not bother me. But it is very fast, even faster than the above Seagate SSHD, although the Seagate has a 8GB cache.
Anyone looking for a fast hard drive for your laptop or computer (in my case, Mac mini) and the Gross is the money for an SSD may not have to spend / wants and do not interfere with clear access noises makes this hard drive is nothing wrong.
