Appearance:
While very well match the look the pictures there's a little gimmick which I want to mention. The top label of the memory lights in the dark when exposed to daylight.
That's not really important, but just one small detail that calm should be mentioned times. ;)
Programming:
The RAM is programmed very clean and offers, in addition to two settings to JEDEC specification, yet each one 2400er setting AMP / AMD or XMP / Intel (see picture).
Compatibility:
Let us first of all the most important point at all because here it fails in some cases yet. I had tested the RAM in the last few days to a few boards (GA990FXA-UD7, GA990FXA-UD5, DFI 790FXB-M3H5, GA F2A88XM-DS2, ASUS Rampage IV BE, and the GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK) and the RAM is running smoothly with the settings of the AMP and XMP.
Until now I did not have a RAM of on so many boards ran smoothly with the maximum possible settings and my UD7 is very (!) Picky RAM. 2400 MHz had not been possible for me so far.
Also to be mentioned is the low amount of memory. Because you will get problems with coolers for CPU only in the rarest of cases.
Speed:
Here you can not really complain and the RAM is (lt. Benchmarks / see my second picture) on a memory bandwidth of 31 723 GB / s. In other words, it is about 30% faster than my previously built-up memory of a little rumzickte on my board.
Tuning:
Here I will later certainly can resent anything else since I currently still something rumprobiere since the timings. However, the RAM is running with some stringent timing of the AMP stable at 1.55 V at 2400 MHz.
TL / DR
Best memory I had so far and I have had in my fingers in all the years, many brands and extensively tested. The first kit I bought for the system of an acquaintance, now a backordered Kit work with my system and I'll probably buy one more to get to 16GB.
Absolute buy recommendation!
