Pre-formatted the drive comes with FAT32 and immediately achieved a write performance of about 29MB / s and a read rate of 31MB / s (at USB2 mind you).
After formatting with HFS + he reached unfortunately only a write speed of about 25MB / s, but the reading speed remained high.
No idea why it works a little slower with the Apple file system, but even 25MB / s are not a bad value.
In addition, falls on very pleasant that the stick has a slim design and fits even when positioned closer USB ports. Two sticks next to each other not fit to the Macbook Pro, but in addition to a normal USB connector (here: the keyboard), it fits in any case still pure. Some other drives are so voluminous built just at higher capacities, the second USB port on the MacBook Pro is useless. On iMac give it, however, no space problems. Then you could even connect five pieces ;-)
