With its three-meter cable, this headset has solved the problem: even when connected to the sound card in my PC (Asus Xonar U7), I can settle quietly on the couch without fear of falling my microphone or could not move her head because of a too short cable.
Volume control on the right earpiece, microphone switched off by folding the side of the left atrium: the ergonomics are perfect.
The foam pad of the headband is very thick and extremely comfortable, and velvet cushions, which completely surround the ears, gently rests on the skull without causing pain or fatigue, despite the fairly heavy weight of the helmet. I have glasses, helmet pressed strongly enough how, but I have no complaints about that, while I suffer cartilage rather quickly with other helmets.
The microphone is attached to the end of a flexible arm and can therefore be adapted to any morphology and user preference. It delivers a clean and clear sound, without breath, and it's easy to avoid saturation sometimes caused by breathing or panting pronunciation of the player or expires so upset after losing. No noise canceling system, but the microphone does not seem to need it, according to the people with whom I played and did not hear the music coming out of my speakers (while I, though, since the helmet n ' is not closed).
As for the sound produced by the atria, it is excellent! The bass is put forward to delve a bit player in the mood of his game, but not at the expense of the rest of the sound spectrum. The record is specific and clear.
What are its shortcomings?
- Non-detachable cable;
- Can not be rotated for the atria to flatten;
- No adapter or USB adapter which enables connecting headphones with only a single jack;
- The white version is much cheaper when I write these lines (190 against 230), but its colors are ugly compared to the class of black and ruby red helmet!
