The vision:
The image of quality is good, it's 1280x720, compression of the video is a little higher so that the image could be a bit sharper. In daytime vision no problem to recognize a person.
Infrared version, depending on the distance between the subject and the camera. I hooked this camera under my roof and my portal is a distance of 15m. The integrated projector is a bit limited at this distance. The images are a bit ghostly and elements that move too quickly are all blurred. Ultimately, we should add an IR projector (there are from 10).
Over short distances against it works very well.
Fixing Level:
The mounting arm is a little light, it is necessary to tighten all hope that it does not move ... It is perhaps a point that should be improved.
Management:
Everything is managed through a web interface (It is best to start with IE if there are things that are not displayed)
Two can flow, high flow and low flow, convenient for remote monitoring.
The camera records based on triggers that are set as four zones. When triggered, it can either save a picture or video (video recording 15 s before the outbreak and 15 after the outbreak) an email with or without the photo. The photos or videos are stored on FTP or on an SD card to be added in the camera (you have to open it to insert the SD card)
There are plenty of Android applications in to view the surveillance video I installed IP Cam Viewer which is much better than the application that comes with the CD.
Miscellaneous:
Attention is either LAN or WI-FI, but not both, the default address is 192.168.1.158 fixed, you can of course set DHCP.
The doc is pretty basic, I recommend reading the forum for more details
