Some feminist books are content to preach converted (s) but that is not the case of the latter, which is very well documented and proves his point beautifully. Furthermore, this book does not just preach great ideas but it puts hands dirty by focusing on a specific point. Though short, and (some might say) "anecdotal", this book is my capital sense to anyone interested in the "women's issue" because it demonstrates a very concrete example of patriarchal dynamics that erases women in history. Finally, it is a way to discover many writers you may have never heard of. You will never believe that women have never written great literature.
