The batteries are einzelnd packed in a cardboard box for safety reasons and also sealed with plastic wrap.
After unpacking the individual components should be fully charge the batteries, wass I immediately done with the dual charger.
The charger is connected with the enclosed Micro USB cable to a separately sold USB-charger (5V, 1A).
You can load on a normal PC / notebook batteries as well.
The batteries look high, where they differ slightly in the form of the original GoPro batteries. These deviations, however, are irrelevant for the perfect fit. The tabs to remove from the GoPro Hero 4 are mounted in the opposite direction to the battery, but is also irrelevant. The batteries fit perfectly into GoPro Bag of SP Gadgeds where specially prefabricated trays are available.
The dual charging cradle is made of normal plastic. On the charging slots an LED for operating state are each (LED is orange during charging and if the batteries are fully charged green). On the front of a company logo and on the back is the center of the micro-USB connector.
Scope of supply:
2x Battery 1160mAh, 3.8V, 4.4 Wh incl. Instructions for use per battery
1x dual charging cradle incl. Instructions
1x Micro USB cable
In an additional test, the LCD touch Backpack yet been used.
The following settings were used in the test:
Resolution: 1080p narrow at 120 frames in PAL video format
All LED's off and beeps, as well as WiFi.
The two White Battery's managed in each case without the touch-LCD, a recording of about 102 minutes.
The original GoPro Battery contrast created a recording time of about 107 minutes.
The LCD touch screen, the recording time is reduced to almost half,
as it is to read indeed on the GoPro website.
The white battery still managed a recording time of approximately 52 minutes.
The original battery with about 55 minutes countered by longer.
The original battery was developed prior to the test several times and loaded (10 charging cycles) and perhaps by the capacity has been slightly changed. The Weiss batteries were factory fresh.
The recording time of the cheaper Weiss batteries differed to the original batteries in my test so just about 3-5 minutes.
The price of the set (about 23 euros) is very good, because you have to lie about 19.99 euros for an original GoPro battery. But one gets almost set incl. Charger. The capacity of the batteries thus differs in the practical test does not appreciably from the originals, which must be due to the good quality of the cells. The printed values of the batteries are also the same as the originals.
I can really only recommend these batteries and they are really a cost-effective alternative!
