The opening is above very broad, so that the container can be easily filled.
What was very important to me: The lid can be lifted with one hand and operate. Even if you have something between the fingers and the other hand is dirty, you can gently cover the bottom with your (clean) hands edge lift and find the cover above.
The plastic is very smooth. Therefore, the waste slips out well (with a Zewa on the ground anyway). Therefore, the container can also be very easy to clean. In the dishwasher, he was not yet, because we do not want him deprived for so long. ;-)
The container can be worn well with one hand when you hold it right on the handle. Otherwise there because of the smooth plastic, however, a high risk of slipping.
The capacity is inherently limited because of the visually appealing form, but I think that's very good, because it in the compost bin forces for regular emptying of the container (with us every 1-2 days). If the short term incurred greater amounts biowaste, yes you can easily additionally make do with a large bowl, but usually reaches the container.
For the appearance and this feature I find the price really good.
