Having read the Lord of the Rings before, we must say that the Hobbit is more like a children's story -l'humour is present but this is not a negative point!
By cons I do not like when the author speaks directly to -chose player who is not in the Lord of the Rings.
The story is very well but it is far from the epic character of the Lord, we do not feel the masterful hand of the work -the book is too short indeed!
In conclusion, very nice book but it is far from a masterpiece such as The Lord of the Rings.
In all cases, the Hobbit is essential in his library!
