As deficit I see things that would largely bereinigbar through future firmware updates:
* Simultaneous Delete RAW + JPEG even if they are spread over 2 SD card (which does not currently, so the spread over 2 cards is useless)
* Interval exposure - nice liked me an adjustability of 1 image per 1s, 10s, 1m, 10m, 1h, 1d
* Auto ISO thresholds set - I liked adjustability of time depending on the focal length: 0EV = focal length (eg 1/30 at 35mm), -1EV = 1 stop longer than the focal length, etc.
* Video slow motion - not currently possible
* Video motion - feasible only externally in postproduction
* And the battery life .... Over 200 pictures I do not get out of a fully charged battery Original ... that can be problematic to travel.
With regard to the finder:
The viewfinder has surprised me positive than I would have expected.
The optical quality with good natural light is not where the optical viewfinder is given some color space, speed and resolution lacks. The color space I guess somewhere around 75-80% sRGB, which I acknowledge to be steep contrasts. A future EVF would win most clearly with 100% sRGB coverage and more accurate color and gray during calibration. However, this is technically the hardest-to-reach development target: You can set these parameters on a monitor with a constant luminosity good, but the EVF must regulate its luminosity over a wide range to suit the ambient light. What does the viewfinder here, is already surprisingly well. The speed is ok for me, only when focus magnification of image formation is visible distorted. That's for me, but rather a comfort issue - the image is still clearly visible. A further enhanced resolution, I would hope, of course, but even that is a comfort issue. The currently offered resolution is totally ok and certainly sufficient professional demands.
Now to the viewfinder image in the dark and dusk: Here the viewfinder exceeds its optical counterpart by far. Even with low-light lenses I get any time a clear, brightened image. This is a huge win!
And in general:
When the aperture preview the picture remains as bright, I can instead see how the vignetting disappears and the depth of field increases. Also a big windfall compared to the classic viewfinder.
I can show a variety of additional information in the viewfinder, I can even get a touch of a button image preview. All very useful new features.
Conclusion: The future belongs to the electronic viewfinder.
