I have 3 cameras and 3 Sony camcorders (HX100V, RX100 IBD Alpha6000, CX305, PJ780, CX900), so do not think that I was opposed to this brand, not at all! But I also have the latest cameras from Olympus, Fuji, Nikon, Panasonic etc. (I did yesterday inventory and I counted 17) and as I spend my time testing and write articles in English and German for various platforms and publications, it allows me to have a fairly horizon expanded and precise overview on the really existing fotografiques products on the market.
Contrary to what many consumers think, the A6000 is not a high-end camera, but the general public at low prices, but provides access to a good level of quality, that is to say, APS-C 24 MP sensor and a micro-processor BionX X rapide.ainsi a very AF peak with 179 sensors.
In return for maintaining a popular access price it took to save on certain points of the equipment that are not - a priori - Important for amateurs. Among-other, the viewfinder resolution has been reduced by almost half, the screen is fixed and can not touch.
The result is that in case of manual control, it must go through several steps and do a lot of gymnastics thumb for example to set a specific focal point, whereas for Olympus SH-1 and other recent cameras, just point with your finger on the screen to focus a subject, the camera is totally occupies the rest, including the shutter control and this instantly. Those who are used to manual controls may be disappointed, but beginners and those who like to let the camera take the decisions will be met, because in automatic mode, the A6000 works perfectly and with breathtaking speed.
This architecture illustrates the design of the A6000 and the target clientele, the A6000 enables a broad customer access to cheap housing that offers picture quality rather exceptional and very sophisticated operation.
Another side of the coin concerns the objectives.
The A6000 is supplied with a target kit that does not highlights the potential of the sensor.
As my supplier said: "I put you with a 16-50mm, ca you will at least fotografier for the beginning!"
Indeed, this goal takes so little room, I can still put the camera in pocket and covers a range of 24 to 75mm (conversion to 24x36 format) which is very honest.
Now I must say that this goal is very fuzzy around the edges and not at the height of the box.
So I ordered a Zeiss Touit 32mm f / 1.8 equivalent to 50mm to 650 Euro.
One can also choose a Zeiss 16-70mm for about 900 Euro covering a 24-105mm beach which is not bad at all.
But it still lacks an TELEPHOTO to cover distant objects about 200 to 300mm and for that there, too, it will passeer at checkout. Forgive me, if I do not share the general euphoria, but rather stay on the carpet.
So I mean is that operating with the 16-50mm, is like buying a Mercedes 6 cylinder but only with tires neige.ou a house without running water.
Of course, this does not diminish the qualities of the case, but it must be well aware era, and keep in mind, that we not only buy a camera but a system ..
