So far I have always used the spray variant, recently I use the refill bottle in connection with a brush.
The fluid is accordingly applied thinly to the chain and the sprocket and cleans the material as desired. For stubborn dirt, I repeat the procedure after approx. a quarter of an hour. So I skip the conservation, which would be necessary for a complete wash (garden hose). After cleaning, the chain still with a dry lubricant (PTFE spray) is treated.
