The device itself is thicker than I have been accustomed to from Braun / Oral-B. This makes it a little awkward when it needs to be rotated when you brush in hand. But since it is otherwise well in hand, get used to it.
Materials and workmanship are very good, as usual brown.
It provides the brushing modes "clean" (default 2 min. Default) / "deep cleansing" (as "clean" with 3 min. Setting) / "sensitive" (gentle cleaning) / "brightening" (for polishing) / "gums protection" (for gum massage) / tongue cleaning (exactly for the tongue). When switching is always started with "clean". The other modes can be switched via a button. A visual indication of the selected mode, there are on the unit itself is not, but in symbolic form on the SmartGuide. Most modes seem sensible and thoughtful. Merely for the tongue, I prefer a special scraper with rubber fins.
Otherwise, there are on the unit nor the on / off switch, the battery level indicator, Bluetooth indicator, as well as lights for excessive pressure during brushing (only logs if you really pressed very firmly), and at the end of the cleaning interval, which also signaled by a brief halt becomes.

The charger is kept quite small, so it will fit into smaller areas, but offers no more storage space for the power cord. Is very well thought out, that the filing of the brush docked to the charger and of course can be removed again. So it is flexible depending on the space.
The SmartGuide can stand on its own initiative on flat documents or be mounted on the wall using the bracket. Before first use it is set once and be connected to the device. Up to two devices can be connected to a SmartGuide. He then provides information on the cleaning mode, the cleaning time for Quadrant exchange etc. Finally, he will award up to five stars and smiles friendly. Personally, I think the SmartGuide for a nice thing, but you can do without, if one has the right cleaning method first appropriated.
For digital natives, statistics freaks, quite forgetful or people who are eager to program your toothbrush, there's the app to brush the App Store or Google Play (for Android but lt. Manufacturer only in August 2014). The connection is made via Bluetooth. Since I use Andoid, I could not try the, consider it personally but rather exaggerated and more of a gimmick that does not justify the high price of currently around 265 EUR (at Amazon). The model without Bluetooth, there is after all for around 130 EUR with otherwise virtually identical equipment.
The travel case is very elegant, a Hardcoveretui and so heavy that it is self-defense Good. The bag for the charger is also pretty. To save space, but I would simply plug device, brush and possibly charging station in a plastic bag with zipper. Then if need be fit even in the wash bag.
When brushing both Trizonebürste, and almost all round brushes from Oral-B can be used. Personally, I've tried for the first time the elongated Trizonevariante and am thrilled both by its ease of use as well as the outcome, in particular between the teeth are better eliminates residues (from and use to floss times but is still good). But as I said, almost all brushes go, so everyone can pursue his or her preferences.
Conclusion:
The brushing modes of the device are good and well thought out. The quality is very good, the delivery lush and exalted the brushing result beyond doubt. So far so 5 stars.
Handyapp and Bluetooth but I regard as superfluous gimmick and is unable to justify the roughly double the price for the version without Bluetooth. Since I belong to the critical loads, I am aware of that and the non-tradable battery also in the evaluation, but draw from only one star because the device is otherwise perfect. So overall 4 stars.
I would buy the model without Bluetooth.
