Granted, the drive SE-218BB / RSBS is so "expensive" in about twice as the external DVD-R / RW Drive SE-208AB / TSBs, BUT: the drive ... + Requires only one USB slot, while the favorable counterpart has two USB ports (USB Twin plug) + Is more compact than the cheaper device and fits well and happy even in an Ultrabook Sleeve + Is significantly (!) Lower than the cheaper Samsung drive and in my opinion also responds more quickly (access time, etc.)
I personally would recommend the SE-218BB / RSBS fully. Who an Ultrabook (or even a normal notebook) uses and therefore in any case only a few USB ports at its disposal, on top of that has claimed to be using the drive on the road and last but not least do not want to endure constant access noise, should you!
