Very good EDC ...

The G716 is based on the Lionsteel model TM1, however it from outside as also from the materials here is not 1: 1 implemented - from the evil clone can also in terms of existing agreements between Ganzo and the respective manufacturer (Benchmade, Lionsteel, ...) do not speak.
For diameter: The finish is all around very good and clean, no burrs, sharp edges opder unclean processed G10, also the blade sits correctly middle (also an advantage of the Axis Locks, since no slipping liner) and completely free of play.
Have been some Ganzos had in his hand, - processing is not always great, but blunders far I've never yet seen, only the polished section has to be almost always hurried along - say, out of box sharpness hardly / not available.
Otherwise, there's nothing to complain about: blade steel is 440C according to the manufacturer, but rather the Chinese 9Cr18MoV variant, but this makes no difference in stain resistance and good properties - good cutting properties but correspondingly more difficult to sharpen.
Ergonomics is good, the finger recess effectively prevents slipping and also the Jimping above is good - the thumb is naturally more likely to be on the Thumb disk.
Opening takes place either by using this disk like an ordinary thumb pin / pin or by a swing from the wrist with unlocked Axis-Lock - the lock is, however, depending on the model or copy to copy always something different difficult to solve so -can sen that you have to turn slightly to the 8 Torx screw bearings to adjust the course.
The knife is very stable overall - both of about 3.5 mm thick and tapering toward the tip for until the very blade, as well as due to safe-Axis Locks and all around good processing.
Compared to the "original", the Lionsteel TM1 you get here rather than a back-Lock those same Axis-Lock (which is not a disadvantage), a blade made of "440C" instead Sleipner (a little harder, but prone to rust), and handles made of G10 instead Micarta or Carbon, which are by their structure, however with the right tightening clip not very pocket-friendly.
Conclusion: the few weaknesses (lack of sharpness out of box, rough handles) can be given the very good processing, good materials and really get over the extremely affordable price - top knife!
