Outside:
The refrigerator (specifically refrigerator-freezer combination) makes optical impression of high quality. Although only the front is made of stainless steel (all other sides made of plastic), falls not to be negative. The two handles make a decent and fairly stable impression, however, makes me wonder if they (as in particular from the fridge that door many times more difficult as that from freezer) also hold even after several years. The power connection cable with real about a meter too short for my taste - here would be at least 2m appropriate. The edges at the bottom of the refrigerator are quite sharp and can quickly softer flooring but also damage tiles!
Inside:
The Gerfierfach is spacious and easily accessible and adjustable and removable shelf stable. A lighting (especially in the rear part) would be helpful, however, is hardly in a cooling-Gefier combination to be found in the freezer.
Now to the refrigerator. The glass shelves of thick glass look visually very good (thanks to the stainless steel trim on the front) and make a very strong impression. The vegetable compartment is from me inexplicably somewhat small - it could easily have yet loosely protrude at least 5 cm more (for front / door) forward. The top two shelves of the refrigerator door are beautiful, high quality and functional. The lower shelf drinks are less well thought out. While it easily fit into 2.5 liter bottles, but no "holding slats" are included. I know the date of each refrigerator by Year 1990 so that in the bottle compartment, this flexible fins (which looks like a comb) smaller bottles / vessels fix. Without these lamellae themselves 1.5L bottles rattling around when opening / closing the refrigerator and in the worst case can tilt sideways at low loading. Tilting forward is excluded due to the high edge. Why AEG saves here on these fins, I can not explain it. I have contacted AEG and it was sent to me then offered a set of these Lampellen. However, they were not suitable for this refrigerator that is only a part had to be cut to fit. Obviously there is for this fridge so no 100% geeignenten holding slats or are not provided. Normally, the rubber seal of the refrigerator is not so bad since only includes fairly stable, it already needs a little more strength to open the fridge - and then can hold the bottles rattle or worst tilt sideways.
Unfortunately, the bottom shelf drinks can not be adjusted in height. I would prefer if I could drink the shelf above and for positioning one or even two, other shelves below. Reason: you have to stoop every time you want to take container from the beverage tray / store. Augrund the position of the fixing points on the refrigerator door (too close together so that the high drinks tray fits only in the lowest position) can not be the great drinks tray, unlike the two other shelves move. Here AEG could well make improvements!
The lighting in the refrigerator is adequate, but not ideally placed. The lighting is located on the top shelf near the back so that the lower compartments are relatively weakly illuminated - but that's criticism at a high level.
The processing is the same as the equipment well. However, it may certainly be expected in this price range do not HigheEnd innovations or Ausstatunsgmerkmale as Nofrost or water / ice dispenser. Positive is certainly that the stainless steel front fingerprint repellent is - for people who had an ordinary stainless steel front and this very often were clean, which is certainly of greater importance.
Consumption / noise emissions:

The specified consumption is 185 kWh / year. I was at about 15-20 degrees room temperature in the kitchen a consumption of 0.384 kWh per day (25 days with an Energy Check 3000 by Voltcraft measured consumption is exactly 9,600 kWh) measure. This corresponds to even only 140 kWh per year ansttt the specified 185 kWh !!! Consumption therefore another 20% was below the value specified by AEG. In mid-summer or in hot weather, consumption will certainly rise slightly, but the stated value of 185 kWh / year is likely to be to keep loose - TOP!
The fridge is in the kitchen of 2 pages (back and left) by a wall surrounded ie forward, right and open at the top. I feel the fridge as low to very low. Only when the compressor is running, you can hear a relatively low operating noise - I find it not as disturbing and much quieter as my 15 year old fully integrated built-in refrigerator - these only about half as large fridge I also did not feel as loud but unlike the AEG he is much louder, though fully integrated!
Conclusion:
======
Despite the small criticisms I forgive the refrigerator 5 Stars. Prices vary sometimes considerably (also on Amazon) between 350 Euro and over 400 Euro. The approximately 350 Euro is the fridge certainly worth more than 420 euros but I find then a bit expensive. I never regret buying and hope that it will remain the next 8-10 years at least so that the refrigerator as long as properly making its services :)
