The default connection for the PC is designed with two jacks. For those wanting to like me using headphones by plugging it into the DualShock controller of their PS4, a single adapter jack is provided. The console immediately recognized the helmet and I could adjust the intensity of the microphone in equipment management settings without worry. And if you ask yourself, this headset has no USB connector.
For shy of the online game, the microphone is detachable and a small rubber cover can hide the socket when not in use. The headset is sturdy and super comfortable, perfect for long gaming sessions. Enveloping totally ear pads isolate you perfectly from outside noise. The sheath is braided wire, and an indispensable protection expected for a model of this range.
The sound is excellent. Spatialization, paramount for FPS, is perfect for a non 7.1 headset. The bass / treble balance is very satisfactory although I would have appreciated a maximum volume a bit higher.
In short, a high quality headphone with a ton of connectivity provided that you can take anywhere with small carrying bag. It is perfect for "gamers" in particular PS4 for whom Dualshock 4 makes this interesting product previously reserved for PC gamers. One downside: I was used with a competing brand to volume and mute directly on the helmet and I must say that I miss it a bit.
