I have this lamp not only ordered because of power saving, but also because it occasionally happens that the fridge does not close properly (or is closed), the door remains slightly open and therefore the lamp is burning inside. This has consequences not only for the power consumption by the lamp directly, but above all the interior of the refrigerator is heated by the burning of conventional incandescent lamp very strong and more needs to be cooled. This can with this practically not heated pear not happen even if the refrigerator door does not close properly and unnoticed, the bulb lights, the interior is not heated, it can be in the vicinity of the bulb, the food is not warm and the refrigerator must not cool, the cooling loss remains marginal.
The light is very white, but pleasant and perfectly adequate. I can for the fridge "highly" recommend this lamp only :-).
