I'm very satisfied with this card (unlike some others I had tried so far). The various interfaces are stable (USB 3.0, eSATA or eSATAp). Chipset is ASMedia; he is necessarily preferable to a NEC / Resnea chipset in terms of stability.

Until now I had always tried only Express cards that are flush with the device. Of this I can only advise, because it maps to a can not pull well, and on the other hand has little chance to pull the USB connector without pulling the card out of the slot. This chipset is not a problem, but an NEC chipset zickt, or the driver will no longer recognize the card again in pushed until the next reboot. The protruding cards are ergonomic to handle in this respect more easily and well.
