The story at first nothing unusual: Anna, a young widow who lives with her stepmother, looking for a job to support themselves. She is landing at Count Swartingham as Secretary, and will have to deal with his bad temper. She, the respectacle widow performs perfectly his work until things get tough and that one day she brings home an injured woman who turns out to be a prostitute. To thank her for saving his life, the sister of the latter is then to Anna a very interesting proposal ...
The main characters have really appealed to me, Anna is a woman who knows what she wants in life and dark, although sometimes it is a little too burnt head and can not seem to face the consequences of his actions . Edward is really captivating him with his gruff and authoritarian character, it is chewable. I loved their continual disputes, dialogues are awesome. The secondary characters are also interesting, especially the servants who are hilarious!
The story is very well done without dead time, and getting stronger through the chapters. One wonders if Edward will ever learn the secret of Anna, and she will be his reaction when he finds it ****
I can not tell you more, read it, it is really worth!
