At first impression, the Lenovo Thinkpad E130 no fancy "bling-bling" is eye-catcher. The materials and processing are not top class, but inside everything is very well assembled. It scores more by usability. The display is true color and has the matte surface a very good contrast and easy to read in daylight and windows at the back. The keyboard typed almost like one big, with a very good clear keystroke. The touchpad is slightly napped and are a very good feedback when stroking your finger over it. The Mouse clicks via keys or at the bottom of the touchpad works very well. The cover is rubberized matt anthracite and it leaves no fingerprints. I run it only with an SSD and Win7 and the battery life are so between 5 to 7 hours. The fan purring softly but very discontinuous. All in all a very good little powerful work laptop without a lot of frills.
