Unfortunately, the INF script for WINXP that installs the driver, so that it schluddrig
does not recognize when the associated device class
= ({MultiPortSeriell 50906CB8-BA12-11D1-BF5D-0000F805F530})
does not exist as a class of devices in the registry.
The installation then breaks with the message from the the relevant section is not present in the INF file.
For buyers who have the same problem (and really know what they are doing ;-))
here a little help:
The following key must be added to the registry:
in the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Class \]:
Key: {50906CB8-BA12-11D1-BF5D-0000F805F530}
(Standard) = "multiple adapters (serial)"
"Class" = "Multiport Serial"
"Icon" = "- 26"
(All REG_SZ)
The [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ CoDevice installer]
has the value (non-key !!):
{50906CB8-BA12-11D1-BF5D-0000F805F530}
REG_MULTI_SZ
eqnclass.dll, CoInstallClass
spxcoins.dll, SpxClassCoInstaller
dgsetup.dll, DigiMultiPortCoInstaller
dgrpsetu.dll, DigiMultiPortCoInstaller
be supplemented.
The files eqnclass.dll, spxcoins.dll, dgsetup.dll, dgrpsetu.dll need of a
other XP machine to copy from the \ system32 directory.
Then install the drivers of Delock re - run!
I think for this faux pas, which cost me a few hours,
is justified by a star of the deduction.
