Important to me was a sharp and vivid image and especially low volume.
Especially the volume is always an issue, at full light output are all too loud for
Bedrooms cinema. The middle light output operation my HS200G is very quiet, my DLP Acer is in Eco mode pleasantly quiet, but less suitable by the cooling down due to excessive heat. I want to turn off the projector without delay when I'm tired.
As you quite often read in the reviews of the newer LG Beamer of unequal distribution of sharpness, I'm looking for
the Benq GP20 decided. Many reviews did not exist, but a video comparison with a 42 "TV. Since I liked the picture very well. I had concerns only the fan noise level, because the specified decibel levels but well above
which my relatively quiet HS200G lie.
After extensive operation or several films I am very satisfied.
(+) Class image (cinema screen) with continuous focus and plastic image impression.
In all respects clearly superior to the old HS200G. Of course, the room must be dark, as with all projectors, especially the LED projectors.
(-) In Eco Mode low Lautstärkem but unpleasant buzzing, the brightest (normal) mode, it is clear to me too loud in the bedroom, like all the projectors tested so far from me.
(+) With many connection possibilities, SD card, USB, MHL, HDMI, RCA, Wi-Fi ...
(+) WLAN stick is included
(+) Lamp life in LED Projectors
(+) Low heat, Projector is quickly turned on and off without cooling phase
(+) Direct "mirrors" of PC / smartphone / tablet app screen prompts via WLAN
(+) Integrated power supply, convenient for ceiling mounting
(+) Viable small carrying bag is included
(+) Projector can be controlled completely without FB. Unfortunately, this is not for all devices on the market.
(+) In an emergency perfectly acceptable built-in speakers, so far the best in my beamers
(+ -) Durchwachsene format support for SD / USB memory (eg MP4 yes / no MKV)
(-) A bit sluggish menus, might like to respond faster
(-) Foil remote control, here me a solid plastic would prefer
(-) No direct playing files over Wi-Fi
There was my whirring too unpleasant, the projector goes back.
