The boxes have arrived today and I use with my notebook. The cable guide on the back of the speaker proves to be very handy, since the computer is not under the table. And so it also looks pretty neat. The sound is, I find, solid (I can compare it with any actual product, as an interim solution to my notebook had to serve two 10-year-old, battery-powered boxes). But it is safe now inappropriate to talk at 2.0 desktop speakers on the quality of the missing bass. Who wants to have home theater systems they must also buy. But back to the topic: The sound is certainly good to very good for this class of product, it roars and plerrt nix. I think he's very well-balanced. For certain genres one can turn to a software equalizer. The volume range is appealing (who wants to sound for party rooms ... so) and the regulator (also the same on / off switch) is medium to schwerläufig which I personally find good. The headphone jack (on the front of the right box) I will probably not use, because such is also in my notebook. The line-in is certainly handy if you should need it. The cable, both the boxes and the power supply are sufficiently long, you should use the speakers with its lower-the-table-PC. The design is black and silver largely plastic (should not be negative). The front of the boxes is piano lacquer (-like?) And is determined to collect the one or other fingerprints. I can only agree with the previous speakers on current devices (such as monitors etc) match the speakers visually outstanding. The workmanship is very good; it wobbles and clatters nix.
Summary:
+ Pros: + Good sound in this product class + Cable guide on the back of the speaker + Design + Additional connections and volume control on the front + Price + Small power supply _______________________________________________________
-Cons: -The Volume control is only available for the speaker, not for the headphone output. Whether this is now a minus point, I do not really even, because I am as I said do not use the headphone output. However, I would prefer to control access as the volume in the operating system adapt, but that's a matter of taste.
If the long-term test surprisingly pull my review into the negative, I will add it here.
