The wood was immediately fired in garden in a fire bowl. It could easily be light with the supplied kindling and burned very well and evenly. Also there were only relatively few pieces of coal left; the wood is completely burned for the most part and had mostly returned only ashes. So it is in fact dry wood which is suitable for immediate use and not has yet to be stored for drying on. To this extent therefore a very good quality.
The total amount (15 kg + 3 kg firewood kindling) handed but just for a night and had been burned completely in the fire bowl after about 3 hours (there were about half hour three to four logs refills). Therefore, this wood - although required quality standard - not quite a cheap affair.
So if you often times lighting a fire - be it in the fireplace or in a fire bowl - the should possibly look for large quantities, which usually are relatively much cheaper then. Who rarely needed firewood or it has provided as a gift (such as a side dish to a fire bowl), with this set certainly well advised.
