The hard drive is very good, nothing to say but its size is not 100% compatible with the Dell Inspiron 1525. Let me explain: the Dell Inspiron 1525 has a facet plastic left, to hide the disk hard but at the same time to be able to handle it independently drive and attach it by sliding it into the laptop. If we replace the hard drive with the SSD, and reassembles all with plastic facet then did everything slide into the slot, the SSD is not recognized because it seems that the connection is not firm. If plastic facet is removed and plugs directly SSD in the laptop, so we reassembled without any facet of plastic, it works. My only explanation is that, somehow, the SSD is not strictly the same physical size as the hard drive, which means that by assembling instead of a hard drive, it does not make contact. Result: I dropped the plastic facet and the hard drive is now visible on the opposite side to the connector. Luckily I was able to use the two screws capital, so at least it is secure. For another type of mounting of the hard disk for example in a Lenovo laptop, there are no worries.
