Was looking for a suitable children's backpack. My son is just over 5 years old, average. Since he made the Kiga-age is out soon, the backpack should not be more suitable for later too small. In Review: "Waldfuchs" (10l) and "Junior" (18l) of Deuter and Vaude "Puck 10". Visually, the "Junior" was the most beautiful, but the mini-outdoor-fan took my son just not enough. In addition, the backpack is still too big for him, so for example, wobbled in the race. Here a waist belt would have been great. Then it would have gone if necessary. High (buckles, zippers) in order, ground fabric too thin. The "forest fox" is highly praised by all sides. But here I miss the alleged false bottom and a waist belt. There were several pockets and compartments, but these were very narrow and long, we found very inconvenient. A long saw will not take my son safely in Kiga ... The included seat pad is nothing special and I fande not unstörend integrated, so only give to it when needed. Qualitatively it may be good, but the thin soil makes me feel uneasy. Too bad, I also think that it is not deep enough. A normal lunchbox can indeed squeeze down purely and expand the abdomen so, however, it turns fast on edge, though I had it put a jacket when worn. While it was more pure than I thought, but he could not convince my son, because the backpack belonged to high and bothered when he was wearing a jacket with Kaupze: The backpack should rather be deep and not so high. But my son really liked the embroidered Fox logo, but this can not be reason to buy :-) Our favorite: the "Puck 10" VAUDE. He is deep and not quite as high as the "forest fox", therefore easier to fill. The double bottom is really there and very robust. Ideal for the forest and he has a waist belt so that it is properly secured. Unfortunately, he has only one exterior pocket in the lid (and two mesh pockets), but relatively large and best of all: a small simple überzuziehenden orange rain coat in there !!! The seat pad is better than the "Waldfuchs", since they are washable, but slightly smaller. We have it plugged into a wall outside pocket, now he has even inside a large compartment. There are also better eyelets for attaching poles or the like. He has my son fit best and the same time worn longer sample. Colors are similar to "Waldfuchs". And I have read that the puck should be a good Waldgeist :-) Thus has also clarified with the fox :-) The only drawback, which is had read: the shoulder straps to rub on the neck ?! When sample wearing my son has not complained. I have taken all three backpacks out they touched all three at the same place his neck when he was wearing no jacket. Is probably a common "problem" ... But should he complain about chafing, I will evaluate aktuallisieren.
