Very good simulator

The first thing in the game looking for a city where to begin: In my case, this was Cologne.
Once you do that, you get pushed a truck in my hands and have to drive a delivery. Here, the game is a slow and explained in detail.

Story / voltage

The main objective of the game is safe and quick from A to transport a commodity to B and for that you get money. With this money, you can then (sometime after 10 trips) make their own trucks. With this you can drive jobs then continue what you in turn gets more money. With this you can then upgrade / improve the trucks, hire new drivers, which buy new trucks, they also improve again and so on.

Then you can still buy garages. You start in the city that one has (as mentioned above) selected at the start, in a sort of tavern, it can but luxuriously modernize and expand ... in exchange for money, of course. And then that pulls through the game.

During trips from A to B you have to note some: gasoline, speed limits (in trucks have to strictly adhere to a speed of 80 (or 90) hold), driving and rest periods. All this affects the order. One can in ETS2, and I personally find very positive, getting penalties. For failing to stop at a red light (350, -), an accident (400, -) and much more. If you drive decent and considerate, but everything goes smoothly in the rule.

There is an open-world gameplay, that is, although you have a Navi, after you can go, but you do not have to: you can take the motorway instead of highway or just passing time from A to B to C, and explore. The players are no limits as set, except of course the expected arrival! This is, however, especially at the beginning of the game, very well calculated, and you should make it easy. Once it then goes to the just-in-time area, it already looks tricky: While it gets more money for a timely delivery, but also there is less time available, so that one is occasionally forced the allowable exceeding speed limit. The course increases again the risk of a penalty or of an accident. You have to strike the right balance.

Graphics / Video

Graphic Technically the Euro Truck Simulator 2 is quite a respectable performance for normal PC players. Of course it depends graphic Technically nowhere to Call of Duty or Battlefield zoom, but it's does not cost the world and the ETS2, or with any simulator, it's about the simulation itself and less about the graphics.

Nevertheless, for the graphic simulators in Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a stunner! It is by far the best artwork that has a simulator. For minimum in this area with changing animations as on the highway.

Audio

Acoustic it is also an experience. Each truck and each motor has a slightly different sound. The MAN bit grumpy, the SCANIA something humming. In the end they all make Brum Brum, but it's nice to see that one has since given some thought. Of course the engine at a higher speed and higher horsepower is getting louder, but that's also realistic way.

Mods

Yes, the mods. Some think the perfect game does not need mods that others will find it a great service to the community.

I have only installed a mod when ETS2, namely Mod taking out the Geschwindigkteitsbegrenzer.

I'm coming along well and I am happy.

Overall impression

The ETS2 knows to convince. He has a good graphics, an easy to comprehend story or a target and it can last for years. You can anywhere in the whole map, the least of Bratislava (Czech Republic) to Aberdeen (Scotland) will open up garages and adjust more and more riders. You can always make more and larger drives until one is blue. One can choose from 6 or 7 models (including MAN, Scania, Majestic (aka. Mercedes Benz), Volvo, IVECO, DAV (aka. DAF) and Renault choose and each truck has its own feel and its own strengths and weaknesses.

A total of EuroTruckSimualtor is a game, who will prepare a delight both hobby gamers as well as hardcore gamers, as long as you have the patience for a simulator.
