The Sound
SoleMate Mini sounds very linear down to about 100 Hz, the passive radiator on the back can not do it though, to help the standalone device to impressive oomph -. This is only about 120 ml large housing too small - but just on the windowsill , placed in a corner or in a bookcase, the agile rear bass departure will prove extremely helpful. According erected it completes the natural sound of SoleMate from mini efficiently and they are pleased about the small dimensions. In the mid and high frequencies, the small rubber block proves to be natural and amazing undiscolored. It is a delight to hear about acoustic instruments, blues, rock, folk, country and even audio books sound natural clear without being sharp.
Processing
Processes the Sole Mate is quite dibasic. The weight-inspiring confidence and with a rubberized surface around it radiates from what they claimed - resilience. If, however, really times sand get into the speaker compartments, I hope that for cleaning the front and rear grilles are removable - I have indeed not yet tried. I also hope that the built-in battery (it actually lasts 8 hours or more) can expand.
The Operation
SoleMate mini came in Firmware Version 1.13 to me. For iOS users like me, all the (silly) voice feedback are too loud and that the volume setting device and IOS-setter on the lowest level is not one of them, quietly listening to music means. Among them there's only "out". some research brought me into possession of the FW upgrades 1:14, in which both the announcements are quieter and the gradations of volume better promoted. The voice commands can be switched off permanently by switching off and on again while pressing the minus button. Remains a downside: The annoying engine noise when switching on and off is still unmistakable - in diekreter environment should the device not "boot". Because of the noise, I prefer from a star. JABRA! I hope !! on a FW update :-)
