The EBL charger charges up to 8 AA or AAA batteries at the same time, is compact (L 18 x W 7.5 x H 3 cm) and weighs only 127 g. The power supply is located in the housing. Processing looks solid.
The package still belongs beside an English Quick Start Guide, a power cord that is inserted laterally.
What is striking?
There can be only 2 batteries in pairs, ie 2, 4, 6 or 8, recharge. A single battery can be loaded not alone.
That certainly has drawbacks, because not all batteries are discharged simultaneously, so that one is tempted to a (nearly) full battery mitzuladen again to complete a pair.
The 4 LEDs indicate the charging process and move from constant "green" to "orange" when two batteries are loaded into the tray underneath. Is the charge finished, light up again "green".
Amazingly, I find that all the LEDs will always light green when the charger is connected to the power, ie even when no battery is in the charger.
Conclusion: You get a lightweight charger for less money, but it has to live with small imperfections.
