For those who want more information about the "environment" of the disc:
The switch on the back is well designed (anti-crushing safety data = do not go out as one disk access is claimed) and can be forced off before the sleep by a long press ( useful in use with video equipment without a PC or mac!).
The transformer is integrated into the power outlet and it is intended for power supplies 110 and 220 volts, 50 and 60hz means no worries for travel (provided of course to have a proper plug adapter). (Some transformers "pull" a little too their weight catch = risk of unintentional disconnection!)
1 meter USB cable, making 2/3 USB type A male on one end and USB 3 (not compatible with the specific format USB ports 1 and 2) mini B male to another.
