I bought the NX20 as the successor to the NX11.
Opposite the NX11 is immediately apparent that the image quality, especially regarding the noise performance in low light has been significantly improved. The increase in quality is enormous and obvious. This was particularly important for me, because the NX11 still relatively early limp made here and now ISO1600 is available and produces an acceptable noise performance. Higher ISO grades are available for more documentary photos.
To me, this is especially for nighttime photographic safaris to Good. Here, just as in general in the Hobby-reportage and street photography, the NX20, Like other NX-models play out an advantage, namely its compact size. Especially along with the pancake Obektiven or the compact 20-50mmm zoom it is very inconspicuous, can be transported well. The DSLR alternatives that produce similar quality, eg EOS605D are compared to NX quite huge chunks. The argument that cameras like the NX are too delicate for people with big hands is, I can not understand. I measure 1,93m, have appropriate hands, sausage fingers and no service problems.

It is interesting to connect the camera via WiFi, as it enables them to use their smartphone as a remote control. That the smartphone can be used as a wireless monitor, let me once again amazed at what makes the technology nowadays everything is possible. Even a little bit strange. However, the data transfer to the PC and to the Internet via WiFi needs to be more user-friendly. For a touch screen (eg for password entry) would be ideal. The NX300 has him already.

The price of the NX20 has now given way and with under 700euro makes you really can not go wrong. The initial price was actually a little generous.
Particularly strong way, I find the intuitive usability. Actually, I could use all the basic functions without manual. Just terrific feature is the appearance and usability of the menu. The aesthetics of eg Canon and particularly Lumix is ​​against it but rather 90-moderately. With intuitive operation, it seems clear to me superior to the candidates. But that's a matter of taste.

I have 30 years ago with a different internships and M42 prime lenses of Pentacon and Co. and the work in the SW darkroom begun SLR photography to operate. When I look at what features and quality can be realized today at an affordable price, I have to say that that would have exceeded my wildest dreams. If I wanted to improve myself at the time, I would choose a Canon 6D, but I have not the money, unfortunately. Among them I can give me a change.
