Nothing to say about the power and ability to remove hair from carpets and sofa (I have a cat and a dog). By cons, plastics are not strong: The handle has escaped me once hands and fell to the ground, which snapped a small piece of plastic used to clip the tube. So, it comes off easily now ... It's a shame!
