It is silent, it really changes our old model, cats do even more afraid !!! The cable is a great length, which prevents tap-changing too often. Finally, it is not too heavy to move from one floor to another. The EPA filter works wonders because no dust appears when one aspires.
About different surfaces of the house: linoleum, flat brush made miracles, allowing high suction power, and moreover, it slides very well. On tiled and wooden floors, classic brush, roller, works very well too, not to mention that it "twists" to go in without incident angles. For cat hair, he even has a special rate, offering easy aspirate tissue. In summary, the suction power is perfect.
This is the first time we have a bagless vacuum cleaner, and it is very easily adapted! The 2-liter tank (bigger would not have bothered me) is easily empty, and as it was designed, it prevents dust gets into the engine and the grid. It also allows you to quickly retrieve objects attracted by our vacuum with pretty pink. For it is true that it is beautiful like a truck, our vacuum cleaner !!!
I also think that we will make a lot of money by not buying bags, not to mention that Philips (class A) is significantly less energy than our older model.
Nevertheless, besides the size of the tank that could have been larger, two negative aspects are to be counted:
Like all vacuums that we had, the crevice tool is not long enough, a few centimeters longer have enabled to clean the old cast iron radiators which are numerous here.
Moreover, as the vacuum cleaner is rather light, as the metal tube is very heavy for ceilings. A chrome plastic tube would have done equally professional and would have been lighter for my little arms!
This explains why we have put "only" 4 out of 5. This product remains a great product that we recommend.
