Very good value but beware of compatibility

When you have a motherboard intended for using DDR3 memory, it can be expected that all DDR3 modules located in the frequency range supported by the motherboard are compatible. In this case, I have a motherboard MSI H55M ED55, purchased in 2010, which works fine with 2 strips in Kingston (XMS3 of 2GB each). This motherboard is expected to DDR3, from 1066 to 2133 MHz. So I think any bar stamped DDR3 and the frequency should be.

Unfortunately, you can not run this HyperX Fury. I tried all possible configurations at the reception slot, I tried with and without my other memory modules. Nothing. Or rather: blue screen at startup.

So I finally had to accept the sad reality before opting for DDR3 strip, check that it is compatible with your motherboard DDR3.

I finally have used this bar on another PC without difficulty with a motherboard a little more recent. Why it works in one case and not in another? No idea. But once this compatibility issue treated, no worries. The bar is entirely satisfactory, it seems reliable and has no performance problem.
