We received the plates in a few days (I never really had a bad surprise this view with amazon). It heats up quickly is perfect for cooking for two daily. The button "Level" is practical, it reduces the power and therefore to simmer (otherwise it Crame!). The left plate is 1400W, 2000W is the right one. To cook meat 1400W is not enough, but otherwise no problems. Some complain that the plastic on the front bottom, I have not met that concern. Others say that the plates make much noise, I had an equivalent model from Techwood before, making it even more noise, this is normal for this type of material. The timer is convenient, you can boil an egg 8 minutes and do the dishes at the same time without the risk of forgetting to turn off the fire. In addition when it goes out it gets quiet one realizes. When the pan is removed from the plate some say it goes off quickly, I can not find. After I can be super fast! Finally, if you want a practical product and not too expensive go for if you want to pay more rather invest in a stove.
