I took this cable 1 meter because it is not good to take beyond 1 see 2 to power external hard drives and any other element ducted by adding a lot of current. This will not mean that the cable will be functional for all that, it could fall on the poor quality, but this is not the case of the cable that does not disappoint me after a test with a hard disk and a reader / dvd burner external. The flow rates are in the standards of USB 3.0 and it has held up the life that I tested. I will surely buy it back if the need arises and I have no problem with by then.
