I use Tetra AquaSafe Water conditioner as for 40 or 25 liters nano aquariums with Neon Tetras or Perlhuhnbärblingen. A fish is never received me after the water change, although we have chlorinated water. And I always use a little less (30%) than water conditioner on the instructions given. However, I let the water just stick out and befülle the water bucket with the shower function of the faucet.
When I once tested a different, more favorable water conditioner, experienced excessive algae growth. So I moved quickly to AquaSafe. The only product which is similar to well in my experience, is the JBL Biotopol Water.
The 250 ml bottle costs the AquaSafe only 50% more than the 100 ml bottle.
