Looking for a foldable, lightweight travel headphones I ordered three models, which in my opinion top provider:
Beyerdynamic DTX501p
Sennheiser PX 200-II
AKG Q350 Quincy Jones High Performance
My resume:
All are good, have their little advantages and disadvantages and in the end decide the personal taste.
Carrying Case:
Since it is travel headphones come with two of the three equal with their own suitcase, this is the transport box of Beyerdynamic shows stable and slender at the same time and like best me. The AKG brings a transport box, which is however already clearly thicker, almost twice as much space as the taking of Beyerdynamic. The Sennheiser offers only a small bag, but it takes away a lot less space.
Significance:
Here, the three do not take much. Nevertheless, the most stable of acts followed by AKG Beyerdynamic and with some distance the Sennheiser. All are made up of metal and plastic, but to make a good and despite the foldable earcups no wobbly impression.
Weight:
The above stability is inevitably accompanied by the weight, which (without re-weigh) the resulting display shows the reverse order. The Sennheiser is the easiest, followed by Beyerdynamic and the weightier matters of the comparison, the AKG.
Sound:
Again, all three very close together. Amazed me like all three a space-filling reproduction, regardless of the style of music. To determine differences, you have to listen all right. Best gave me this then the Beyerdynamic fallen, which offers most balanced sound for me. Hot on is this the Sennheiser followed by AKG but a little too dark tuned sound has. There are the highs too much taken away in favor of a certain Baslastigkeit. As I said, this is but differentiate only after prolonged preview.
Foreclosure surround sound:
Here the Beyerdynamic is ahead, followed by AKG and Sennheiser. With none of those named can completely shade the ambient noise but also no noticeable negative.
Fit on the ear:
Here the Beyerdynamic is very front. The upholstery and the pressure on the ear are very pleasant. It is followed by the Sennheiser, which produces a similarly strong pressure on the ear, but the padding is not quite the feel-good factor of the Beyer Dynamics. The AKG falls on uncomfortable here, because it has a distinct unpleasant to apply constant pressure to the ear.
Fit on the head:
By the lowest weight and the recess of the padding in the middle of the bracket of the Sennheiser produces the least pressure on the head by a large margin. In particular, the recess prevents the padding, that the bow pushes on the top of the head, which is very unpleasant for me after a short time. Despite relatively good padding neither the Beyerdynamic still the AKG able to draw here. Whereby the AKG this combined with its weight to the continuous padding on the unpleasant notice.
Conclusion:
What do I get a headset that annoys me when wearing ?! Logical: nothing! So is my favorite of the Sennheiser. Those who are not as sensitive as I, I would recommend the Beyer Dynamics.
