Have the drive used together with a mounting frame for the Disk Expansion my 2009er Macbook Pro 13 ". She's been a good deal faster than was the default built 160GB disk. And it has actually 999,8gb. While you can feel no rotations / oscillations and listen, you can hear a little while writing the Festplattenarm. Those who do not want to, make use of an SSD. Especially the price-performance ratio, however, let me hold on to this hybrid drive. Not many laptops have more than 1TB storage capacity!
On all Mac users: The installation is relatively easy and the software is designed so that you can install OSX on the new record. Then you can set the new volume as the start and transfer all the data. Although takes a little, but basically completely hassle free. Individual programs can be moved via drag & drop to the new drive and then just work as one would expect from Apple.
