No this is not a Macbook Air. But I need not have. And this little Chromebook meets 100% to my daily needs which amount to surfing, facebook, youtube and very few on google docs drive. I do not print my house accounting with printers not have any problem. The backup time is by appointment (just over 9 hours) Lights 5 seconds lap top. The screen is satisfying to work and even watch videos but not outside where the screen shows the weaknesses of visibilities. The keyboard is very good and right touch pad is too small (I have not used very well, I must admit) The materials are worth the price. For snob, go your way and heat the CB. For others, rush! The chromebook is an interesting alternative to mobility and lamba surfing. ;)
