- Externals:
The laptop is not just light and small, but you can with the necessary power probably do not expect. It should be the potential buyer realizes that he buys here not a fancy, designer slim notebook but one that brings a lot of speed and features that come with a price in the form of certain Klobigkeit and weight. However, I do not want to speak ill of the exterior Ideapad. For its size, it has a pretty decent design, the body of black brushed aluminum a quality image, just like the chrome statements of touchpad and speakers. When tilting the display, or when carrying around nothing creaks.
- SCREEN:
I bought the full HD version and would recommend it to anyone to who puts a bit of importance on image quality. The image is sharp, the color reproduction looks natural, the brightness is fine. I like reflective displays, because with them, the colors are more intense and the image is improved in contrast than matte displays. But that is a matter of taste. Anyway, I am fully satisfied with the display.
- Keyboard:
The keyboard I found a bit strange at first, because it is slightly shifted to the left compared to my old laptop, which is of course the additional number pad. I would personally can probably do without this, but it is nice to have him. Unfortunately, the Enter key is a bit on the narrow, which means that I now and the adjacent digit in the numeric keypad meet instead of Enter. But now that has become increasingly rare and really just a matter of getting used. In itself it writes very comfortably on the keyboard. I am a much / long / fast-writer and get along well. A small drawback is: on the left side, it acts as if the keyboard while typing bed would somehow not really screwed 100% solid, it klackert a little over to the right. This seems to be a common phenomenon in this model, at least I came when Googling for some people with the same "problem". Apart from that the tap, thereby, a little louder, but this is not really a limitation.
- Touchpad:
The touchpad is very large, which I find quite pleasant, the buttons are also integrated into the pad, so you can "wipe" on the keys. Good idea, implementation could possibly be a little better, find the keys a bit hard to press and mostly use the method of typing to click on touchpad. Is my opinion better, faster and, moreover, is silent (the keys click fairly loud when pressed).
- (GRAPHIC) PERFORMANCE:
The IdeaPad is damn quickly in all respects. The normal work with Windows runs smoothly, I had not a single trailer or bluescreen. Of games I've tested The Witcher 1 and The Witcher 2. Witcher 1 runs smoothly in full HD with maximum graphics settings. Witcher 2, which has a pretty sophisticated graphics, unfortunately, is not running in Full HD, but in 1600x900 liquid, with high texture resolutions and total medium graphics settings (and still looks pretty nice from).
- Hard disk:
Interestingly, the use of SSD in the preinstalled operating system: it is somehow connected internally to the system drive and is not listed individually in the workplace. Felt she sets out for example during start-up, which is pretty fast. Just when you boot up just out of hibernation, the system is fully operational within a few seconds. I like it very much.
The normal hard drive is reasonably fast and not be further partitioned by the above described connection with the SSD. This one has an almost 1TB partition that you can no longer divide. This is not optimal, but there are also worse. If you want to install a second operating system necessarily for example, there is, as described in other reviews, apparently also for opportunities.
- CONNECTIONS:
Well, the usual. Can we indeed refer to the specifications. Am satisfied, I lack nothing. 3 USB ports rich in my opinion, who needs more, he should buy a USB hub for pennies.
- BATTERY:
The battery has surprised me postiiv. I would say on average it lasts about 3 hours if I let stand around just turned on the laptop (with the screen switched off) the battery lasts sometimes even twice as long.
- CONCLUSION:
Very powerful and high-grade notebook, which I do not regret buying. It's not cheap, but for what it can, the price is more than reasonable.
