When used, however, is always note the following:
1) The PC / the equipment must always be completely free of dust (housing, filter cartridges of suction ports, fan blades, cooling fins, RAM-bars, graphics card fan and their fins, power supply units and their fans). Even a generally poor heat dissipation of video cards and power supplies may lead to overheating of the interior and to overheating of the processor area.
2) The cooler (fan and fins) of the processor is cleaned.
3) The contact surface of the cooler is cleaned.
4) The contact surface of the processor is cleaned.
5) The thermal grease is always heated not heated (!) With, for example, a hair dryer or a heat gun.
6) thin but full area (!) Onto the already clamped processor.
Mounting and fastening 7) cooler quickly.
You can then do it now work with the equipment, but you have to know one a thermal grease full effect usually only after about 48 hours. Only then "crawls" up in all the "micro-areas" of seemingly smooth contact surfaces.
The same we do with mounted coolers on graphics cards processors.
